Optometrist
Dr. Yaseen Waqar is originally from Waco, Texas. He completed his Bachelor of Science from Baylor University and his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He was an active member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and graduated with Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Yaseen Waqar is originally from Waco, Texas. He completed his Bachelor of Science from Baylor University and his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He was an active member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and graduated with Magna Cum Laude. During his time there, he completed several rigorous internships. He was also selected for the myopia control specialty clinic rotation where he learned to fit ortho-k lenses and utilize atropine to treat children and teenagers with progressive myopia. He then went on to train with Plaza Vision Center in Dallas where he treated ocular disease with specialty contact lenses (scleral and gas permeable) as well as managed severe dry eye disease. He finished his last internship at a non-profit Community Clinic in Dallas where he managed patients with severe ocular pathology ranging from diabetic retinopathy to glaucoma for low income patients.
After graduating, Dr. Waqar pursued a residency in Ocular Disease/Primary Care at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He practiced full-scope optometric care by providing primary eye care, pathology management, specialty contact lenses. He also rotated with various ophthalmologists with specialties in refractive and cataract surgery, oculoplastic, retina, ocular oncology, neuro, and cornea.
Dr. Waqar is licensed to practice Optometry in the State of Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. He specializes in Family Eye Care, Contact Lenses, Dry Eyes, Myopia Control, Ocular Disease, and Cataract/LASIK Consultations. Dr. Waqar is currently pursuing his fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Collin Tubbs is originally from Dripping Springs, TX. He completed his undergraduate education at Texas State University after transferring from Oklahoma Christian University where he played basketball for two seasons.
Dr. Collin Tubbs is originally from Dripping Springs, TX. He completed his undergraduate education at Texas State University after transferring from Oklahoma Christian University where he played basketball for two seasons. He then completed his Doctorate of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he graduated Cum Laude. During his time there, he also completed internships in Houston and San Antonio, focusing on pathology management in primarily Spanish-speaking populations. He also has a special interest in pediatric optometry, focusing on binocular vision and myopia control.
Dr. Tubbs is also a certified Glaucoma Specialist, and practices full-scope optometry, specializing in LASIK and cataract co-management, Dry Eye, Ocular Disease, Binocular Vision, Contact Lenses, and Diabetic Eye Care.
In his free time, Dr. Tubbs enjoys playing basketball, watching the Texans and Spurs, and spending time with his fiance Wendy and their three dogs: Birdie, Journey, and Sevyn.
